Interesting question. For one, you are actually asking about two different evolutionary mechanisms. One would be natural selection, and here intelligence may play a bigger role. the other is sexual selection, where attractivity comes into play. Both are at work, and both are slightly different things. However, in human beings intelligence and attractiveness can be highly correlated; many people find intelligence in their partner sexy. In other animals, something similar may be at work. In some birds, the females are singing a song that the males have to learn well to make her choose them as their mate. She will choose the one who learns best. Question is, are we talking 'intelligence' here. I leave that up for grabs. As you see, the answer to your very clear and straight question is - as so often in science - highly ambiguous.

It's gonna be a close tie, b/c attractive people are usually the ones who find a mate the fastest and procreate, but the intelligent do tend to make the most money which is also very attractive to the opposite sex, especially women, and it is usually women that stop procreation b/c they are more picky than men when it comes to finding a mate

The intellegent make the money then they breed with the attractive.
If you can keep the geeks from buying hot spouses they would win out in the long run. but as long as attractive people want money it will always be the same race

I think the more intelligent will survive longer and the more attractive will die younger. The more attractive will usually be overly confident and thus think that they are immune to harmful things. In believing this, they will probably live a high risk lifestyle….whereas the intelligent one will be more aware of his/her behaviors and the effects of those behaviors on his/her life. Hope that makes sense.

Stands to reason that we should get more attractive w. each successive generation because the better looking you are the higher your chances of breeding more often and passing on more of those beauty genes.
If you look at film footage of just 100 years ago, 5 generations we've improved substantially, a million years, eek eek!

The more attractive suggests that they could be more physically fit and better able to handle conditions. The more intelligent would be better able to modify the environment to suit him Tough call but I will go with intelligence.

No, society has transformed survival of the fittest into mere survival. We will be meaner, uglier, and more violent and flourish till we infest the planet to an unliveable place. It is really unnatural..

If I had to say which one has the best chance of passing their genes on to the next generation, then it would clearly go to the attractive. They have more sex. So, attractive.
