I've been looking at what some people think Extra-terrestrials would look like. But I have to think, is it really possible to imagine, realistically, an alien species? To think they would be made of the same elements is, of course the obvious topic, but is it very plausible that any other organism would evolve or develope in any way like Earth's? Things like DNA, Cellular resperation, Cells themselves, Photosynthisis(sp?), and many other things we use to recognize what organisms are. So yes, this is less a question and more of a spring-board for disscusion.

I went swimming with the dolphans at 17, the women that was with us was a marine biologist and told us that there underbelly turns pink when they are happy and blush.I was in the water and this dolphan came up and swam into my arms, belly up, and as soon as I look its belly turned to this bright pinkish-red. It stayed there in my arms little bit. At the Tenn. Aquarium as soon as I went up to the tank the dolphans belly turned pinkish-red. It was cool. :) To everyone that just answered my Q: you people are cool!!!!!!

So we have to do a bug collection for Biology. We have to capture bugs and then kill them before we disect them...by either suffocating them with nail polish remover or freezing them in the freezer. Erm...isn't that a little inhumane? I mean, I know they're just bugs, but its pretty horrible if you think about it. Why isn't there some kind of rule against doing it? I know it must sound stupid, but heck, I wouldn't want to die by being frozen or suffocated... ok, maybe I'm weird, but it sounds pretty cruel.
