The question is simple yet hard to answer it.
1. Respiration/digestion : give us energies to age.
2. Reproduction: enable us to produce offspring before we die.
3. Brain/Nerve : Senses, mind, thinking, learning, memory, imagination, and sensor are very complicated.
4. Circulation: use oxidation for energies.
5. Skeleton/muscle: to support our body against gravity.
6. Hair/Skin/Look/Nail: to protest harmful UV and embellish to captivate spouse
7. You have to die and so that new life will be borned.

You don't use biology yourself, mostly. Not the way you use math when you compare two products at the grocery store to see which is cheaper, or calculate a tip.
But if you are alive, it is most likely because of biology. Did you have measles, small pox, polio, diphtheria, yellow fever, pertussis, rubella, etc? If not, it's because of biology, specifically the knowledge of the immune system and vaccination that has largely eliminated such diseases in the western world and reduced them worldwide.
Everything you eat comes from a farm. Farms today are more efficient than in the past, with larger animals giving more meat, milk, and wool; and more harvestable food per acre.

I dont noe if u've come across this. But at times when i just think about life and try to define it in bio terms, i find myself lost and confused . Like, the whole idea of a thing as small and simple yet coplex as a cell, to have LIFE - like i mean to breathe, to think, to UNDERSTAND, to respond....and these sorts of things is just amazing.
After all a cell is only an aggregate of some organelles which function (again rises a quesion tht what exactly makes them respond). If u go further deep, these organelles are also made up of molecues which in turn of atoms. So u noe in the end evrything comes down to atoms....And the mere idea tht a thing(?) as small as an atom is waht constitutes life is like - flabbergasting.
And then, as some of my friends have already answered, there are daily life activities as digesting, excreting, growing, responding, reporducing......once u delve into them and try to figure out what happens in them urself and if u secceed in getting the correct answers....the feelings just amazing. Like a remeber an incident in my 10th grade when we were taught bout the life processes in detail. Having a gyneacological background, i had some knowledge bout reproduction, including tht bout sex. And then on observing round me, i once found that two male donkeys (or at least that's wat i cud make out) were copulating. The idea might seem too funny, but then i actually started thinking on those lines and then i asked my bio teacher to tell me if donkeys are gays, she told me tht it must be one of the rare cases tht i observed. Although i cudnt get an answer to my Q, i was contended tht i observed, hypothesized and tried to work out a solution mysel. Then there was this case of a man suffering from diphallus (i.e. having two copulatory or sex organs). At first i was shocked on reading bout it tht such a condition actually exists. But then i tried to reason it out myself. Although i cudnt firgure out the complete reason, but i went quite near to it. i thought tht it should be due to some o embryonic defects tht led to the condition.
So u noe if u see wat all happens around u and in u, i m sure u too will figure out a way to apply Biology.
