According to current scientific knowledge, human beings have evolved through genetic mutation and ensuing natural selection. Today however, modern medecine makes survival and reproduction possible for gene lines who previously would have died out due to natural selection. Is modern medecine effectively hampering further evolution of mankind?
#I am aware that this question raises numerous ethical issues and could be misinterpreted as being immoral. However I am solely interested in a scientific answer to this question and in no way want to imply unethical consequences!

This came up in one of my wife's many facinating comments, today.
I have no idea. Wouldn't the placenta be included in the cloning process? Kinda a package deal right? It would grow alongside in the tube or dish or soup bowl.have to be cut and voila! Belly button. your thoughts please.

When I was in primary school our teachers used to tell us that if you wrote on yourself with pen, it can mess up your health. Is there any truth to that?

In the 3 years I've lived here I haven't seen any fleas. The cats are both treated with ADVANTAGE and the dog with SENTINEL. My bf complains now and then that he has a flea bite. Now he has one on his tummy and I have a similar one on my tummy as well. It is a raised bump and itchy. I have always insisted it's spiders but he won't believe me. The other night he woke up because a spider was on his neck.

I have a teacher w/ a cow heart in her room. It bothers me. I have a slight desire to steal it, just to get it out of there, but I really don't need a cow heart. Maybe I could inject a dye into the heart, maybe turn it black, or even something to make it deteriate...Any help?
