3. Vascular bundles are resent in a ring.
4. Leaves have reticulated venation.
5. Seeds have two cotyledons.

Monocot plants have fibrous root system.
Dicot plants have tap-root system.
In monocot plant stem the vascular bundles are scattered alround.
In Dicot plants stem the vascular bundle is found in the centre.

The seed of monocots have one cotyledon while dicots have two cotyledons. Cotyledons are also called food leaves coz they provide food for the plant till the plant can produce its own food.
