They do not look alike.
Bruce Lee was Asian, so was Mohandas Ghandi, and so was Jesus Christ and so is Osama bin Laden. All those people are or were umpteetnth generation Asians.
In what way exactly do you think all those Asians look alike? Are you seriously suggesting that Jesus looked like Bruce Lee?

It`s called racial (not racist) perception. We are used to our kind and tend to recognize them better. For Caucasian the orientals, Africans etc. seem to look alike and the other way around. The brain only records and recognizes the most distinctive features of a human face (more like a caricature) and those of the faces it "knows" and can compare. Similar problems occurred towards people in uniform etc. The problem would resolve itself if you would go in Asian countries for a few months or so. You would be surprised then how different they really are.

People of one bio-ethnicity group (formerly called a race) only look similar to someone from a different group. It was said for many years in America that all negroes looked alike. That was only said by white people. It is only when ethnic groups are mixed in social situations that the nuances that make up our individuality become obvious.

I met an asian once who told me "All caucasians look similar" and he meant it too. To an asian, the asians dont look similar.
The issue is that of familiarity. You can tell your dog apart from your neighbour's even if they are of the same breed. But can you tell two polar bears apart?
When you are in regular contact with one kind of people, you learn to notice the differences even when they might look similar to strangers.
Ever wonder why the mother (or father) can always tell which identical twin is who? think about it.

asians doesnt look a like! people from have different looks but same color of hair sometime skin also but they are not look alike asian countries in the past are being colonised by different european countries so thats the way they differ coz some are pure some are halfamericans.halfeuropean..................
and the color of their skin is because of the climate, the melatonin is very active in secreting melanin that uses light to make the skin color, asians have more melanin than the western countries, and the asians are not prone to skin cancer because of the melanin that protects the skin ^_____^

Asia is a continent, not a race (so is Africa). Asians usually refers to orientals such as chinese, japanese. They have somewhat flattened noses, and faces, black hair, and almond shaped eyes which might make them look similar to someone not used to these features. My wife who is asian often gets long curious stares by little kids because I suppose she looks different then they are used to. Asians have as many differences in the way they look as everyone else does once you get past the features they generally have in common.

You never can see the forrest because of all the trees in the way. Wen you get involved with something , you get to tell the difference as you can with twins.

Because in order to diferentiate faces fast, your brain "cathches on" to certain features. So you would easily differentiate people that you have been acostumed to seeing, but people with other facial types would be harder for you to tell apart.
So asians don't all look alike, it's just more difficult for your brain to tell them apart, because it isn't used to it.
