The mind is not located in the body. In fact it is not an object, but a mere process.
A human body is comparable to a machine. Once it is charged with power, it starts operating and there exist more characteristics (p.e. a computer which is turned off has no processes running). This way consciousness occurs. This is a typical naturalistic point of view.
Scientists believe that consciousness is caused when the cerebrum of the brain is filled with (bio-)energy. The amygdala would be responsible for our feelings.
However, the function of the brain is ultimately complex. To get a closer look at "neurology" would be an interesting occupation for you.
Hope this helps.

This is a philosophical question, much like where is your soul located in the body (assuming you believe in a soul), You mind is your thought process. You need a brain to think, so you could say your mind is in your brain, but dead people have a brain but no mind.

of course its in the brain, everything we do, say, think, and feel is in the brain, including the mind. The body in my opinion is the only thing that's not in the brain, but is controlled by it. The brain is a puppet master within all realms of thought

That's more of a psychology or philosophy question, but if you damage the cerebral cortex, then you lose what most people define as 'mind'. So, the things that we associate with mind - like generalizing, thinking, processing etc. are housed in the cerebral cortex.
Does that answer your question?

Sounds like you're more concerned about a "spirit" or "soul." The mind is the part of us that thinks.. it's in the brain.. but how it works is another matter. :-)

I think it's just above the right elbow. If you don't have a right arm, then I'm not sure.
