The Earth has a 'weak' gravitational force which allows us to stand and jump yet it has a powerful enough force to pull the Moon.

The Sun has a massive gravitational force which can pull all the planets, moons, comets, ect, but yet something as small as a space ship or satellite can just fly around without being pulled into the sun.

A man can get out of his ship and work and will not be pulled into any planet or star.

Distance you tell me ?

If you have a magnet and a large and small piece of metal wouldn't you be able to pull the small piece from a futher distance ?

On space scale people and space ships are less then an grain of salt in comparison with worlds and stars.

If the sun can pull Jupiter or lets say Pluto 'a block of ice' into slow orbit from billions and billions of miles away wouldn't anything as small as us be spun around the sun at inconceivable speeds or be pulled into the Sun out right ?

It wasn't as bright as Venus usually is. It was directly beneath the full moon.

can you, as a scientist, believe in God without physical evidence? Can you expand your thoughts to believe reality is more than what we currently know, more than what science tells us?

2012, when the Alien-Maya-Nostradamian vectors coincide with the alignment of Jupiter and Venus in Libra bringing about an era of extreme change not seen since the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, will see the collision of Earth with an unknown planet twice the size of Jupiter, currently hidden behind the Sun. What I want to know is:

1) How many MRE’s will I need to feed my extended family while the dust settles?
2) Should I close my IRA’s and take the penalty for early withdrawal?
3) How much ammo will I need to defend my MRE’s from the unprepared?
4) Can I be mayor?
5) Will I still have to recycle in 2013?
6) Does anyone know whether tin-foil hats will be on sale in late 2012?
7) How long can I expect my running shoes to last in air full of smoke and dust?
8) Will I have to give my paperboy a Christmas present in 2012?
9) Should I change all my Pesos to Euros or into Rubles?
10) If nothing happens, ala Y2K, will there be a market for my MRE’s and tin-foil hats?

Merry Christmas, Y’all!!

Ok,before you get hyped let me tell you, last night i watched this one show on the science channel on "Doomsday on 2012:life after the impact"or something along those lines.Personally i think its bullshit because in 5 years everythings just gonna become disingrated from this damn comet? But at the same time it scares the blood out of my bones because all these notorious scientist that work for NASA and such all agree to the conclusion that this will in fact happen in 2012 if they can't stop it[which is very rare]My death wish is not including a giant meteor creamating me.What do you guys think?

Is the Earths gravity slowly dragging the moon towards us?, will it eventually impact with the Earth?

2007-12-24 00:19:38 · 21 answers · asked by Hoot 3

Did you notice?

Whenever the moon is there, there also is the star beside it! Even though all other stars are unseen.

Some people are wondering if this star together with the moon is THE SAME through-out the year or this star changes to a different star...?

Please explain !
Thank You!
