Yeah, i just saw transformers.

So could this someday be a possibility?! I mean just 50 years ago we didnt even have computers capable of what they are capable of doing today. Can you imagine 200, 300, 1000 years from now and if we actually do survive to that point, would we have been able to integrate DNA and machines? Just wondering what the perspective on this is

in glasgow, scotland, uk there has been a bright light much bigger and brighter than a star coming out about 3-6am most nights, it stays stationary for about 3-4 hours but moves off when im not looking, it has no hazard lights like a helicopter and floats strangely, has anyone seen anything similar lately?

I don't think so! I think it is shining the brightest it has been in years!

What a special moon!

A beautiful Moon!

A caring Moon!

A sensitive Moon!

I think it is time to worship our Moon :)

What do you think?

If you drew a random line (vector) from earth, would the vector almost certainly hit a star?

Or would the vector most likely continue to the edge of the known universe (assume "Big Bang") without touching a star?

if a person was traveling to Earth from a distant point 500 light-years away and they were traveling at the speed of light, to the person on Earth would it seem to take the traveler 500 years to reach here? and to the traveler would it still seem and appear to him to take 500 years to reach Earth, even though to a person on Earth the traveler wouldn't have seemed to "age"? understand the question? by the person on Earth's time standards, to and from back to Earth at the speed of light, would appear not to age the traveler 500 years, so does the traveler experience the 500 year time spance traveling at the speed of light?

I just felt that NASA already went to the moon almost 40 years ago. We have sooo many urgent problems that have the survival of the human race at stake on the "Earth" that we need to solve. It just doesn't justify to spend billions and billions more to go exploring on the moon just because China did it!!

Another question, a good earth telescope, i don't a few hundreds bucks, what kind of details can you see on the moon ?

I was running short of characters so apologies for the poorly phrased question. Basically, if I strung a steel cable from the moon to the Earth, such that the end of the cable nearest the Earth was 2 feet above ground and I then attached a basket or some similar device to that end of the cable and climbed in the basket, would the Earth rotate around me such that, in 12 hours, I would be halfway around the Earth?
