If you're talking about the LHC being built by CERN, then just be patient. It'll be here running in early 2008. If that works, they'll crank up the power and we'll have the ability to generate our strangelet and anhiliate the earth! :)

Yeah, it was supposed to be working this year but I checked their website (just google cern and you'll find it ok) and it is now given as 2008, but they didn't give a month when they expected it to be operating. It's called a Large Hadron Collider or LHC for short.

yes that is the border between France and Switzerland where cern is located.

there building Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in an already existing underground facility originally built for and used by The Large Electron-Positron Collider (LEP).
