the terms of comparison:
if same amount of chromatic and spherical aberrations are present which image will be the more magnified one. OR:
if both images are equally magnified which will be the one with less aberrations.
I am asking because I learned that refractors' chromatic and spherical aberrations are depend on their focal ratios.

In modern society, the existence of Pluto was not confirmed until the early 1930's, making nine planets. The Mayans always called earth the seventh planet. Earth is the seventh planet if you are coming from outside of our solar system and count Pluto on the way. The Mayan calender predicted to the day (Aug 27 07) when Mars will be as close to Earth as it ever gets. It speaks of two moons, and a gate that is brought along with the "two moons" (our Moon and Mars) that will take us to the end of the sixth sun (Dec 21, 2012) AT A TIME WHEN THE EARTH IS COVERED BY A WEB!!! Okay we know that the two moon in august thing is a hoax and we still have a few days until it is over on the 27th and there are still a few idiots asking about it yet. I guess if they can't find the search bar there's not much hope of seeing two moons. I know this is not the place for polls. But since we have had to endure these stupid questions for so long now, I'm taking a poll in this category.

How many people will come onto yahooanswers on the 27th and ask "Has anyone been able to see the two moons? I can't see them yet. What direction am I supposed to look?" or anything similar to that.

I will do my best to add and time ends at midnight Central time.

The closest guess wins or the first to guess the correct number. Only guess one number- no ranges like 'between twenty and thirty'.

An object of given mass strikes an immovable object at light-speed minus 1 cm/sec. How does the energy released from that impact compare to the energy that would be released if TWO objects of the *same* mass were each travelling TOWARD each other, and collided head-on, wherein each object were travelling at lightspeed minus 1 cm/sec.?

I've been stargazing for a while now with a 7x50 Binoculars, and although it's better than naked-eye stargazing, still I don't really see much with them and then I live in London (UK), so as you can imagine light pollution and UK weather doesn't help much either. I want to buy a telescope but don't know how to choose a beginner one. A refractor, reflector or Newtonian? Which aperture, 6 inch (150 mm) or 8 inch (200 mm)? What about those computerized, "Go To" telescope? And are they expensive? Please explain. Thank you!
