Actually, they are. The moon is easily visible during the day when it is a crescent. The planet Venus is also visible to your eyes during the day if you know exactly where to look for it.

A few stars can be seen during the day with a telescope. They are just too faint against the sky glow to see with your eyes.

We are facing the sun. When we see stars at night, it is because we have no light source "blinding" us, so the star's light can come through. During the day, the sun provides so much light that it drowns out the other stars. Sometimes we can see the moon though, and this is if the sun and moon are at the correct angles. We see the moon for a different reason than we see stars. Stars send us their own light, but the moon reflects the sunlight, so we can only see the moon when its at an angle where the sun can hit the moon and the light can bounce back to earth strong enough that the sun's normal rays don't drown it out.

It's sort of the same effect as shining a flashlight onto the ground at noon. The flashlight still emits light, but we can't see it hit because there are way more of the sun's rays that overpower the flashlight.

They are not visible to human without asistance from optical instruments. But you can see moon lots of times with a nacked eye, during the day light hours, if it is in a position and there are no clouds.

Sun light intensity is much higher then stars light so you are not able to see the stars and the other planets, that are seen on a cloudless new moon night..

This is true also on full moon night, you can only see very few stars and the planets, lots more are seen on new moon night.

Actually, both the Moon and some bright stars _are_ visible during the day, as are bright planets. If you haven't seen the Moon during the day, you just aren't paying much attention to the sky: the Moon's there about half the time and really easy to see with the naked eye. I've observed both Mercury and Venus in daytime with a telescope, and several times have seen Venus with my unaided eye. The reason they are hard to see is that the Sun illuminates our atmosphere, causing the blue of the sky, but bright objects are still visible through this if you know exactly where to look. A friend of mine, who has the use of a telescope with accurate setting circles, has observed several of the brightest stars in daylight.

The Moon IS visible in the day time. It will rise in the East about 5:00PM local time today, about an hour and a half before sunset. The stars are not visible in the day time because they are not bright enough.

Because the stars are very far away and moon has no light and the sun's light is brighter than them so they are not visible but they are still there

The sun's light is scattered by the atmosphere so that there is a fair amount of light emanating from all points of the sky during daylight hours. This scattered daylight overpowers the faint light of celestial objects (except the moon and certain very bright objects such as Venus) so that they cannot be seen by the unaided eye during daylight.

The stars are visible in the day time.the sun saturates the eye so it cuts the f stop for the eye. The stars are visible from a well or mine that is about 30 ft deep.
