I remember that e-mail about Mars two years ago. And it doesn't seem possible that it's that close again.

And, anyone have eclipse pictures? I got up early to watch it but there's too many trees, etc. here... and couldn't drive anywhere... it was disappointing!!

But I'm really looking forward to the meteor shower on the 31st/1st! The meteors were from around 4 A.D.... wow!!

It was amazing as the moon started to go into a lunar eclipse, mars became visible, as if there were two moons. I took a photo, check it out.

The famous theory,

from nothing came something....

It said that the space blew up and small bits of stuff molded together were made into planets, stars etc...

Now, how come the planets are a perfect sphere. If lets say earth is made up of layers of space garbage from the big bang theory then wouldnt it be an irregular shape planet.

Is space gravity in play that makes planets and stuff into a perfect sphere.

In 6 minutes time I will be able to see the full lunar eclipse.

I heard someone say that we can't watch it..
I dont really remember how it is.. are we actually allowed to see it
cause I hear some people dont see it because it may hurts your eyes or something.

Hi, I am here in the Philippines at Mindanao I know there is, but I can't see the eclipse! Would the clouds clear up after a few minutes cause it's blocking my first time seeing a lunar eclipse!huhuhu!

I read about the lunar eclipse on August 28th, and want to understand how come I was unable to see it. I live in Quebec, in the EDT time zone, and NASA's website indicated the lunar eclipse would be visible as of 5:52 a.m. I got up to view it and saw nothing. So I checked another website to see the time of moonset on August 27th, 2007, and it indicated 4:49 a.m. It seems there is a discrepancy between the two sites I consulted. Can someone explain this?

Me, When I was about 8, I saw this meteor.
From my distance it looked about house size,
Made a thunderous sound, Lit up the night sky with fire,
and passed directly overhead.
I will never forget that experience. It was awsome but scary at the same time.
