There is a high tide on the opposite side of earth to the high tide pulled by the moon. What force causes this? Could it be that both earth and moon revolve around a common centre of gravity like a fat man and a small woman spinning round in an eightsome reel, causing centrifugal force to throw man's tail of jacket out?

I have thoughts, that maybe time isn't real.
Who says that time is moving forwards? How come time seems to move faster and slower? Time could be moving backwards. I'd also be interested to see if there are any other measures of time that dont fit in the the conventional seconds and minutes and all that stuff.
Thanks.

I have most interesting questions about space and astronauts. One of them has been asked above, the other are as follows;

1. Why do astronauts go underwater to train for space wlks?
2. How can a satellite be parked in orbit?
3. What is the best way to watch for satellites from the earth?
4. Is it true that it takes the earth a month to orbit the earth, while it takes a shuttle only 90 minutes?
5. Who names the shuttles, e.g. Challenger, Endeavour etc. ?
6. How much does it cost to send a shuttle in space and back?
7. When is the shuttle actually in orbit?
8. Where are astronaut families during launch?
9. Do astronauts drink recycled urine in space?
10. Do astronauts grow taller in space and then back to their original heightonce they are back to earth.

The person to answer most of these question gets ten points!!

I live in North GA. Tonight I saw an object in the sky that I first thought was a plane. (lower western sky) I looked at it for a second noticing it was very bright. A little later I looked back and it was gone, so I still thought it had been a plane. A while later I looked back and it was there again, so I stared at it, and noticed it would slowly get really bright, and then it would dim down to where you couldn't see it. I thought clouds were interfering... this wasn't the case... The object would get really bright for a while, then dim to where you couldn't see it. I watched this for quite a while starting at about 9PM or so. A little after 10, I went in to get my mom to show her and when we got back out there it wasn't there... I told her it would come back like it'd been doing it for the past hour, but I never saw it again. (possibly because of clouds at this point, I'm not certain) I'll look again tomorrow. I would just like to know what it was. I don't believe it was Venus.

Can three stars with the same mass stay forever in a circular (located at 120 degrees) orbit around the barycenter (center of the equilateral triangle),?
What about 4 stars at 90 deg? or 5,6...stars?

If two identical stars be in a near circular orbit, can exist a planet in a orbit like a "8" around those stars?. What if we have 3 stars as the first question: Would be the planet move in a stable orbit like a trifolium?

i was watching a show on the Science Channel recently about parallel universes. a question came to mind that they never answered. does the possibility of an infininte number of parallel universes mean that anything we imagine(day dream) about in this universe, like super heroes, for instance, or creatures like dragons, centaurs, or anything else the human imagination can conjure, isn't really imaginary? that if you had the ability to search all those universes, you'd eventually find one where those are real?

There are so many people who say God is not real. They spend there day trying to prove God is not real. Scientist have done studied that God does not exist and that we were created by the big bang theory right? .... or wait! Aint the scientist being paid to prove there is no God? If you ask 7 out of 10 scientist and tell tell you the truth, they WILL say that there is a God and there is no way the Big Bang Theory could have created us. The way everything works, the way we all eat, they way people enjoy sex, the way women and men are created. Jesus said that who ever does not believe in God is because Satan is telling them lies and making them believe that hes not real. You can read this in the book of John. So many Mericals and so many good things have happin to the ones who worship God. Bad things happing to the ones who worship Satan. I have had experience in both worlds. Im here to testify. Can someone prove me wrong? Anyone? If so give me full proof!!! God bless bros an sisters!!
