and similar questions make me wonder why Yahoo! Answers is the preferred homework solution guide rather than reading the assignment or simply using google--or just removing the answers from the yahoo address. Ideas?

why do they always say that if there is no water on a planet or there isn`t oxygen there can be no life in it?, i have heard there is an animal, almost microscopic that can live in extremly hi temperatures so if it does there will be no water because the heat wiould evaporate it, and what if something would need helio or nitrogyn insted of oxigen?

ok through my understanding water is 100% recyclable, so astronauts take water to space then they have to go to the washroom, after they flush the pee and other... gets flushed out to space. so if we continue to do this and more people go to space are we gonna lose more and more water?

Why is it the sun will shine yellow on most days but on some days its red/orange and usually very big when it does turn red, and usually after the sun has came across the horizen (or over the tops of trees) completely it seems to go back yellow again?

It travels the same speed around the sun with the exact same orbit pattern. As far as we can see, its always behind the sun so we can never see it. The moon isn't far enough away from the earth, neither is the hubble telescope to allow us to see it either. It has a year thats exactly as long, and even has life on it possibly.. of course even if they are intellgent, which most likely they aren't, they can't see us either.

Anyone ever consider that? I was just thinking about someone saying we can see everything well in our solar system so I asked myself, is that true, or is there a blind spot? Well there is.. Anything orbitting around the sun exactly at our speed would always be invisible to us since our telescopes arent far enough away.

I recently did a project on the history of time (*snickers at private nerd humor) and in my studies I've found the the way we measure time has been revised over the years. I even heard that they are even now trying to come up with a universal time system that is to be more acurate than the time zone and daylight saving time confusion. With all of this new knowledge it makes me wonder if it is really 2007 right now or has time keeping been so altered that we are some years ahead or behind schedule?

When we look at the sky we are looking back in time. How far back can we see? Does it depend on optics? Is it practically, or theoretically possible to see the big bang? Is there a place in the sky where we think the big bang might have originated?
Thanks in advance!
