Okay, the universe is HUUUGE so even if aliens are far more advanced than we are they still may not be able to find us because Earth is small and the universe is huge...okay imagine if Earth were a needle and then the needle were placed in a hay stack that was 30 miles wide in all directions and 10 feet high...its not probable to find it, its possible to find just not probable. Also even though our signals are reaching outward into space ( by signals I mean by radio, T.V., etc.) travelling at the speed of light, it would still take a long time to reach anything because of the vastness of space.
Hope you understand a little better.

Oh but they have!! :)
Seriously, there hasn't been any "solid" evidence regarding this topic and until there is some general public acceptance of such, it is unlikely that we will be able to discuss it without fear of being laughed at.
It is unlikely that we have been visited by aliens, or we most likely would know about it. Since there has been no group announcement we must go on the assumption that this has not happened.
Maybe we are being observed from afar... maybe not.
Curious though to say the least...
It is rather egocentric of us to think we are the only forms of intelligent life in the WHOLE universe! :)

I've often wondered about this myself. Genesis 1 and 2 say that God created everything in 6 days, but there was no specific mention of aliens. Of course, since aliens (assuming they do exist) are prob not human or animal, i supposed it's possible that God created some other type of life form on other planets. I would have to say no, though.

They haven't found us because space is just too huge. The distances between the stars makes interstellar travel unlikely. Even if you could travel at the speed of light (which is impossible), it would still take 4 years just to get to the nearest star other than our sun. Highly advanced aliens would still have a problem with light-speed travel because as your ship approaches the speed of light, its mass becomes infinite and therefore you need an infinite amount of energy to move it. Only massless objects like photons (particles of light) can travel at the speed of light.

They may be out there.
Even if they are, and even if they are very advanced, it may be that there is just no way to travel such distances.
Light from the sun only reaches the nearest star in about 3 years. -we can't even come close to that speed. Even if we could, there may only be a 1 in 1000000 shot that there is a planet around a star that can support life.
Aliens could pick up our radio waves, but they only travel at the speed of light. -it could take 10000 year for them to reach anyone -if they're listening...

I believe there is life on other planets. Let's say we are an advanced civilization with some way to get to other stars through perhaps multi-generational vessels. Go out and look at the sky and tell me which star to fly to to find intelligent life. Perhaps they don't bother because the technology isn't there or it's too much of a crap shoot.

Just think about that if Aliens fund us. Well maybe they are kind like us. They have a government or some type of leadership. Maybe they not allowed to see us there leadership might prevent it.
I think there might be several reasons why there leadership might not want there people to reveal themselves to us.
First they might want stay unknown to us for there protection.
It might be there law not to interfere with us.
Just think if you where looking at us we blow up or own people what would they think that we would do to them.
So maybe they think it is better not be curious about us but instead be cautions. I cannot make a assumption about how the safe universe is for them or us. Maybe they want to be friends but you got to
think maybe the Aliens do not even breath are same air and it would be hard for them tointeract with us so it might be better for them just stay away with us.

If they found us they might already by manipulating us according to their needs. That would explain our sudden development in the last 50-60 years... Some of us might be actual alien-human hybrids... The possibilities are real!

They've probably stopped by a few times...and looked at our wars, the way we pollute and destroy entire species of plants and animals...and probably decided--"hey man, I don't care how cool the surfing is down there, those people are NUTS!!!"

Maybe they have found us but think we're too primitive to really pay attention to.
