why do objects that enter at the wrong angle burn up? why can't a spaceship just come down slowly at any angle? if they ever built a lift up into space (as suggested by arthur c clarke) would it need a heat shield to protect the floor?

I am 140lbs and 5 foot 11 inches. Please explain how this can be achieved. It doesn't matter how. Just send me to the sun. If there are other methods, please enumerate them (like alternatives to the best option).

I'm only accepting realistic answers, meaning only possible with today's technology. For example, a giant catapult is realistic, provided you prove your theory (e.g. a calculation of the force needed for the projectile to reach the sun and how the catapult works).

Will this produce harmful effects to the sun? The Earth?

1. Why must the observer in the chest be secured to the floor? Explain using Newton's 3rd Law.
2. Prior to discovering the hook and rope, what would the observer in the chest think happened to him if we suddenly stopped accelerating the chest ?
3. How can we justify a claim that says the chest is at rest and the chest is accelerating at the same time?
4. Draw a free body diagram of the object hanging from a rope inside the chest from a) the observer in the chest's perspective and b) the Galilean observer's perspective.

Which stars appear first in the twilight of the night sky, is it the closest stars to us or is it the brightest stars?
Also, if light expands in all directions from a star, why doesn't the image expand?
Is the image of the star multiplied in a "loop wave of light".
Does the wave of light break and multiplies the image so what we see is the image of the star in a tiny spec of a bubble of light?
Just wondering.......

The universe was created approximately 15 billion years ago from a very small dense conglomerate of matter that "exploded." Well where did this matter come from? Please, only scientifc answers, I am not religious. Thanks.
