Do stars change shape perceivably through rotation? As in, if a star wobbles in space, will it's shape still be spherical?

Does light dissipate in space by distance alone, without any other objects in between?

I'm wondering because there was a Start Trek:Voyager episode where they travel through a region of space that lacks stars, but would light from other stars even further in the distance still be visible or would they dissipate over a great enough distance?

the cydonia region of mars has gotten a lot of attention over the years and admittedly it does resemble a face but is it real, and does that prove we are not alone. and how might our philosophy of life change if/when we discover we are in fact not alone

In space, if I have a small planet made out of some kind of metal(solid to the core), and a larger planet made out of sponge(porous to the core), would the larger object have more gravity because of it's size, or would their gravity be similar? The same can be applied to the idea of a marble versus a sponge I guess.

Does the density of an object affect the gravity it produces more than it's size, or is size the best measure of gravity forces?

PS: The sponge planet would not collapse and become denser, because it's a theoretical sponge planet.

I know this is an old issue, but I want feedback from the very young people, those who don't remember when man supposedly landed on the moon. So, do you believe that man landed on the moon in 1966? I sure don't.

I've always wondered about this because it's done by remote control right? But I learned from my physics teacher that it takes around 4 minutes for signals to actually reach Mars. How would you ever be able to control it?
