The Universe is said to be suspended in the ether medium... the medium is not tangible but there is enough proof of existence of the medium..... The matter and energy in this medium is interchangeable but not mixable with the medium. Thus, universe cannot be termed as a solution since there is no solvent....even if there is it does not dissolve the contents in it...so it can loosly be called a mixture rather than a solution.

The universe is not a solution. It's just a collection of matter in space. By the way there is no ether as stated earlier. That idea was dropped years ago.
