I know this is an old issue, but I want feedback from the very young people, those who don't remember when man supposedly landed on the moon. So, do you believe that man landed on the moon in 1966? I sure don't.

No, I don't believe it, and even though I'm not young, I'll tell you why. Supposedly they left a lot of equipment there, including some nice custom made Nikon cameras, and other stuff that was too heavy to bring back, well, that plus the flag, and photos of their footprints, etc, whatever proof you could find, if you could bring them back and sell them would easily pay for the trip - so why hasn't anyone done it?

You are correct, Americans did NOT land on the moon in 1966.

The first man landed on the moon on **July 16, 1969**.

I absolutely don't believe man walked on the moon in 1966.

I *do* believe he walked on the moon in 1969, however.

Speaking for other "young" people who know that the moon landing was NOT a hoax,
I suggest that you should stop watching Jerry Springer and tune into the Discovery channel once in a while. Maybe you'll actually learn something and stop making ignorant statements. IMHO

I don't either. In 1966, we were still launching the Gemini series in preparation for Apollo.

Oh, sorry, you want feedback from the ignorant very young, obvious authorities on this subject. What, you think your generation is the first one born with a brain? I hope you grow up and get some intelligence before someone puts you in charge of something.

... and someone, PLEASE, give me a gun so I can shoot the idiot who put that ridiculous idea into your silly little head...

Darn, girl...everybody knows nobody landed on the moon. After all, the moon is really just a NASA hoax. Also the Earth is flat, and Elvis is living in Cleveland where he works in a donut shop.

If you read this far, and haven't got a totally closed mind, go to this website and get the *real* facts about the lunar landings...all seven of 'em ==>http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html

In that case, you'd better join the Flat Earth Society. When photo's came back from the lunar missions that showed the earth was clearly round, they started the rumor that the whole operation was done in a studio to preserve the flat earth myth. I'm not sure what the dues are but you should definitely join.

Do you believe everyone in our government who was involved could keep this huge secret for almost 40 years? Someone involved would have written a book by now.

Please don't believe this kind of stuff. It's so easy to make up and pretend there was some kind of fake background for a photo op.
