Did you ever consider that earth is just an experiment with variables being introduced to see how we react? Going a bit further, is our lifetime just a few days to the experimentor?

(NO, I AM NOT HIGH)

Dont tell me it is because of the gases that make up the sun because there are gases every where around us.What makes the hydrogen and helium and other gases in the sun to became so hot that they give warmth and produce light.

There has been much speculation that the human genome has been manipulated. Why are we as a species so 'blueprinted' for speech and language for example?

There is so much evidence to show the Apollo moon landing is a hoax here are a couple of examples flag blowing odd shadows that show studio lighting and the coke bottle. I believe space exploration may lead to information on how life started on Earth so what happend to the billions spent if the project was a hoax. By the way if ever a question deserved a star this is it pun intended British humour i hope you Americans get irony

I live near NY. I am fortunate because I have a great sky veiw from my house, I can see miles of horizon,..so whenever possible, I open the curtains and take time out admire the dawn sky, sunrises, and sunsets............

Today, I was watching the dawn sky at about 5:30. The sky conditions were CLEAR, (but being near the city, there are never many stars visible.)...............

I HAD already been gazing at another star in the sky.. It was the only bright one.. and located high in the sky, but towards the south. Then after a while of watching,( 5minutes) the second bright white one appeared just near it...out of nowhere. It surpirsed me!. ...Then, It lasted about 10 seconds, or so, then disappeared again. What type of star/event was that? I am curious because i never heard of that.. and I tried searching the web, but it's a pain.

I know it sounds crazy....but in elliptical orbits, in order for the angular momentum to be conserved...at different points of the ellipse...when 'r'(distance from sun) increases, the linear velocity decreases....and we all know that a change in linear velocity is a linear acceleration!
so....where am i wrong?????

Thanks to all who took time out to answer the first question.
Regarding the Earth; we now know that in this situation, our planet would slingshot into space and freeze.

Think: an object with the mass of the sun disapears! What are the gravitational effects? I have seen the model with the stretched rubber sheet and the bowing ball - if that bowling ball were to vanish, the sheet would instantly become taut, releasing the energy of the ball's mass.

So, if the sun were to disapear would there be a gravity wave?
