If a Mars-sized object collided with the Earth, then why did it formed our Moon?

a person sent me an email that if this theory was true,it couldnt have been as the debris can't clump together and then Earth will have rings like the other gas giants.and also he said that if that's possible, all of the gas giants' moons(e.g.Ganymede,Titania)
were materials of the Jovian planets rings.

I'm about 98% sure they're out there.
It's actually common sense. With sooooo many planets in sooooomany other galaxies and even the possiblity of another universe it's EXTREMELY hard to believe we are the only ones out there. Even if you belive in god, he created eveything on earth (I think thats it srry I dont go to church) right? so why can't there be anyone else? maybe even they had an alien god (maybe, just a random thought) that created them too.I still find some ufos obvious fakes though. I Believe in them, but I'm smart enough to see a fake. But somepeople Just won't believe. they claim thereis no "evidence" that they're out there. what evidence do you need? It's Common sense! maybe 1200 planets out there (just a guess) and you think we are the only living beings?..........

-dont get made at me for the god thing I guess maybe I was being politically incorrect? Im not sure-

I and others are so sick of this stupid and ignorant hoax thing that seems to persist to excite feeble minds, that I might publish this every day on yahoo answers.

Yes, it was just about feasible to film a fake moon landing in the 60s, but the concept of incorporating the created simulation in the systems at mission control so as to fool all those controllers for the several years of the moon missions is laughable. Anyone who thinks that is possible has not the vaguest idea of what it would take.

It would mean that the simulation would have to work perfectly in sync with the shots every second of the entire operation. One little blink in that, and the controllers would be onto it. They would literally see through the hoax in the first seconds of the first moonshot.
