if you start with 0.80kg of radioactive potassium (small40)K (or k to 40th power), how much wil remain after 1.3 billion years? After 2.6 billion years? After 3.9 billion years? How long would you have to wait until there was no (small40)K remaining?

I'm really interested in making and assembling my own telescope but I find it difficult to look for materials and a simple step by step procedure. I tried to surf the net but I found telescopes that are so hard to make and with so expensive materials. I hope you can give me simple guidelines or tips on how to make one. Thanks in advance.

when astronauts go up, they fly in US space shuttles, but are there Russian space shuttles? If not do the Russians always fly up on US shuttles? I saw that Russia discontinued their shuttle program in 1993, so whats the deal?

It says: The ecliptic marks the position of the sun on the celestial sphere throughout the year. Why is the ecliptic tilted relative to the celestial equator? Also, how would a planisphere be constructed for observers at the North Pole? Where would the sky window be and how far would it extend? Please help!!

what is different about a star that apears reddish compared to a star that apears bluish.

I know that a blue flame is hotter a red flame but is there some other reason i.e. refraction,radiation???

Is it possible the earth had 2 moons one that was smaller. The orbit of the smaller one decayed causing it to crash into the earth. This should create enough trama to the enviroment to cause mass extention. Looking for scientific probablity. My Six year old wanted to know why the earth only has one Moon. Could it have had more?
