I think there are aliens out there, but it is just an intuitive feeling. I have no proof. I don't think UFOs are alien space craft for example. But the universe is so big it seems unlikely that only our little, tiny, microscopic part of it has life.

While I think there is an abundance of single cell life out there in the universe, the case for complex life is not very good Ck out this book Rare Earth (Why Complex Life is Uncommon in the Universe) It made me reasses my thoughts on the matter.

It is ignorance for humans to believe that they are the only intelligent species in our universe. The truth is, we are only a minute part of an endless multiverse. Yes -- multiverse. Yes, there are indeed other speices of beings in this universe, as well as other universes. There is so much we don't know. It is ignorant to assume that just because we only have our limited scope of vision that what we see is all there is.

Its crazy to think that we are the only things around. Think of it like this: If you pick up a hand full of sand and den let it go u will still have sand sticking to your hand.

By this i mean the hand full of sand represents a portion of our universe and the remaining sand on your hand is the life it sustains.

it would be pretty selfish to think that we're the only specie in the universe, of course there is because space is very big the chances of we being alone is 1 in 20 trillion trillion billion trillion chances

yes. but they might not fit the characteristics of life as we know them. they might have evolved in such a way that didn't involve cells. actually now that i think about it, that would be the only characteristic they wouldn't fit. oops. but the universe is HUGE!! if evolution happened here, i'm willing to bet it happened somewhere else. and i'm also willing to bet that we'll never find that somewhere else.
