I've read, watched documentarys, how we could of really staged the landing on the moon. It's almost believeable when you see the facts. As an american I want to believe that our great country was the first nation there. People started dissapearing who could of testified. The more I read into it, the less I want to know. SCARY.

How is it possible to have a beam of red light that is brighter than a beam of blue light, when blue-light photons are more energetic than those of red light?

The universe is absolutely huge and still expanding, but mankind has only ever been able to send probes as far as the edge of the solar system.

It doesn't seem logical that this universe is so vast for one planet to explore.

Do you think that mankind will ever be able travel between galaxies or could it be possible that there is terrestrial life out there?

Do you think that we'll ever know before we destroy ourselves?

Instead of moving stones that weighed tons they might have only weighed a few hundred pounds, there are places all over Earth that has hundreds of ton rocks that have been moved miles and then lifted up to hundreds of feet with out any understanding of how they could have done it.

Okay, so I have this homework and it is in science. This wouldn't be cheating because it isn't in the book and it doesn't say anything about it anywhere else! Here is the question:
Lunar rocks are very old and do not look as if they were eroded by water. Also, no rocks have been found that contain water combined with minerals, as are found on Earth. What can you infer about how long the moon without water?

UHHHH THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY DOLLARS AND SENSE!!!
PLZ HELP ME! Just so you know, this is about space and the moon. That was a tip! PLZ help! THANKS!

Lotsa Love,
XxXKaylieXxX

An asteroid may come uncomfortably close to Earth in 2036 and the United Nations should assume responsibility for a space mission to deflect it, a group of astronauts, engineers and scientists said on Saturday.

Astronomers are monitoring an asteroid named Apophis, which has a 1 in 45,000 chance of striking Earth on April 13, 2036.

Although the odds of an impact by this particular asteroid are low, a recent congressional mandate for NASA to upgrade its tracking of near-Earth asteroids is expected to uncover hundreds, if not thousands of threatening space rocks in the near future, former astronaut Rusty Schweickart said.

"It's not just Apophis we're looking at. Every country is at risk. We need a set of general principles to deal with this issue," Schweickart, a member of the Apollo 9 crew that orbited the moon in March 1969, told an American Association for the Advancement of Science conference in San Francisco.

By friend and I are having a bit of a disagreement and are hoping someone may know the answer...
Here is the question- If you fired a gun on the moon with no gravity would it shoot? If so without gravity what would happen to the bullet?
I know an odd question but hopefully someone knows! Thanks!

From scratch? Like create/manipulate gravity to hold everything together, create an artificial atmosphere capable of sustaing life, etc? Basically, a man-made earth?
