Well, it was the grandest of all stages, usually called REALITY. A huge rocket, 3000 tonnes heavy and 110 metre tall, lifted off from Florida in July 1969, carrying 3 astronauts, named Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins. The mighty Saturn 5 rocket lobbed them all the way to the moon, where two of the crew actually landed on, unrolled a wrinkled flag (that some unsophisticated idiots claimed showed it was pushed by wind, and started some crazy story that it was all fake).
The Russians would have loved it to be fake, because they had both the desire and the means to show it was -- if it was fake -- as it would have humiliated the US and allowed them to be first on the moon after all. But they didn't. Becasue the Russian knew it was true.
So, please stop believing all those crazy stories. The moon landing of 1969 is REAL -- and Elvis is dead and not living on some alien planet, and Al-Quida did attack the US on 9/11. The only fake rumous was about Saddam having weapons of mass destruction -- he didn't.

I have given few days ago on italian yahoo answers a few simple reasons for which the moon landing could not have been staged. At that time the competition between US an soviets was hard.
By listening with simple radio apparatus the sovietd could follow the trip to the moon monitoring the radio transmissions and the Doppler effest to measure the velocity. Moreover they coul monitor the signals of the radar altimeter of the LEM. They could also monitor the whole with any radiotelescope. Some fool could say ''but they did not know the frequencies''....This is crap !!! The British could ''steal'' the radiophotographs of a planetary soviet probe by means of the Jodrell Bamk radiotelescope and release them to the press before the soviets much to their anger !!!!
Moreover in 1942-45 the allied could spy the german submarine
radio transmission with the Huff Duff apparatus.
Would you think that at that times the soviet would not have
demistified the whole affair if they could putting the US in a untenable situation ???? Awake conspiracy supporters !!!!
And study some science !!!

Not at all.
The amount of people who would have had to be involved in such a conspiracy alone makes it logistically impossible.
I know some of the things we hear and read about America are damning, but there was a time in our history when we really did do great things and landing on the moon is one of them. If anyone had staged a moon landing for propoganda, it would have been the Soviets and even that corrupt government couldn't stoop that low.

No.
The astronauts on the Apollo 11 flight placed a laser reflector on the surface of the moon which is still used to precisely determine the distance to the moon. Basically, a laser is aimed at the moon, and the extremely weak reflection is picked up by sensitive equipment. The round-trip time is used to determine the distance. If the landings were staged, there would be no reflector on the moon, and this would be impossible.

except you have been there and witnessed sufficient of the technique to sense particular it grow to be actual, you are able to no longer relatively thoroughly have self assurance something the media aid you recognize. yet refusing to have self assurance it did take place isn't the comparable as believing that it did no longer take place. the final you're able to do is to assume it occurred. you will by no ability be waiting to come across conclusive info one way or yet another. yet your existence possibly does not matter on having the wonderful answer, so which you purely settle for an assumption based upon a lifelike statistical diagnosis and pass on. What does a commonsense statistical diagnosis let us know? If it have been faked, then hundreds - possibly hundreds - of persons would have had to be in on the conspiracy. human beings are notoriously undesirable at protecting secrets and techniques, and a style of persons would have spilled the beans via now. And in case you nitpick via all the media comments, you are able to consistently locate discrepancies. this would be a commonly used gadget of deniers of any many times believed declare. as quickly as you discover one factor that seems to be questionable, then you definately cite that as info that the whole argument is fake. shop an open strategies. there remains a non-0 probability that somebody will produce the smoking gun. yet till that occurs, i visit artwork with the perception that astronauts relatively did walk on the moon.

There was too much event synchronization, too many mission surprises and foul-ups, too many witnessable events (Saturn V launches, capsule recoveries) and simply too many people involved for it to be a scripted hoax. The "evidence" against is trivial and highly-interpreted. The reason we don't have a moon base is that it would cost billions to build and maintain. We went there on a shoestring as it was (The walls of the LEM were heavy-duty tinfoil.), and after the political stunting was done, Congress yanked the funding and the last three missions were cancelled. It would not be worth it to spend all that time and money on anything but a real mission, not with the Cold War going on, not with the potential political costs of being exposed.

And don´t give a flying who it was.

Yes, we landed on the moon several times. For sure. Many people are still not sure that the Earth is not flat. What is scary is the depth of magical-thinking that remains in these modern times. People do not have the critical-thinking skills to be able to look at evidence and discern the truth for themselves. They have to be followers. To remain free, people must learn math and science and how to think for themselves so that they can make decisions that will protect them rather than follow those who exploit ignorant people.

NO , I actually worked for a company that had made a part for the lunar landing module . The part was the exploding shear pin which released the lunar lander from the bottom half which remained on the moon's surface as the men returned and docked with the command module. I would not believe the conspiracy theories surrounding this though they have had plenty of time to compile believable stories in there own right . The name of the company I worked for was called Poorman aircraft , we normally made fuel system check valves for various light aircraft . I will note the part was made before I began work for the company but I did see the blueprints for the part so I know it's a true fact . I mistyped the original yes at the beginning.

Do you people believe in anything. One of the greatest achievements of mankind and you come out with doubt. Did the Wright brothers make the first heavier than air flight or was that too something made up by the then government. There are thousands of authors making billions out of the likes of you 'doubting thomas's'. You people make a total mockery out of history. You prefer to believe some half-baked 'theory' and cannot accept anything. Shame on you..................
