Simply because there aren't any crafts from other planets visiting the earth. I find it had to believe that a civilization would travel hundreds of light years to just do wheelies in our skies without making contact. People will claim abductions and such but it's only their stories with no physical proof.

a UFO is simply a flying object that the viewer is unable to identify. I sure believe life exists on other planets, but real visitors? highly unlikely. the function of time and space would require a multi-generational craft with a renewable power source and food source. cells have a limited lifetime, and it's life span makes it unlikely any single occupant could get here. and why would they? why would an advanced alien civilization invest the time and effort to produce a multi-generational craft with renewable power and food sources to bother us? Given the technology such an effort would require, they would surely know all about us, and Earth is the last place any advanced alien civilization would want to visit. we are probably the low-lifes of the galaxy.

They claim to have seen aliens, too.
Their testimony is worthless, however.
