At first glance this looks like a stupid question but it might be a much deeper question than it looks. What stars can be in the earth could be taken as what stars were the Earth made from?

Stars that were between 1.4 and 4 solar masses can end their days as a Supernova. Vast quantities of stardust are exploded away from them with all sorts of elements needed to make rocky planets like ours.
