People spend so much time arguing about everything from politics to religion. Why can't we focus our collective energies and actually accomplish something worth while, that could actually unite us as a world?

Eventually, our own sun will expand engulfing the inner planets. The zone where liquid water can exist on a planet's surface will expand as well, encompassing Jupiter or Saturn. Is it possible for complex organisms (like ourselves) to evolve on a moon of these gas giants? How would the gravitational forces of other moons in orbit effect longterm survival chances for species to develop?

I know humans wouldn't be able to survive 100 years on there, but at least this way, we could use remote controls to travel this far.

Do we really need all the space in space? Why are stars and galaxies so far apart? Is there some cosmic reason why space needs to be so big?

That the piece of strange metal that crashed into a house in NJ could be a molten piece of the Russian booster rocket that fell somewhere in Wyoming? I mean when something falls from space, I'm sure debris can get spread easily as far apart as Wyoming and NJ and when pieces break up and heat up in the atmosphere, couldn't it form a small molten mass? Just a theory.

Recently I discovered Web sites with some interesting 360 degree pictures from the five Appolo missions that allegedly made it to the moon. What I notice about the pictures is, if these pictures were actually taken on the Earth, then the perspective is all wrong, as the horizon appears to be way too close in the pictures taken on flat terrain. Faking the picture by bringing in the horizon wouldn't work, since that would distort everying else - standing objects would look too skinny, circles would look like ellipses, etc. On the other hand, if the pictures were taken on the moon, which has 1/4 the diameter of the Earth, then the altered perspective makes perfect sense.

So, for all you conspiracy theorists, how do we explain this? Personally, I'm stumped on how they pulled this off.
