Molecules are theorized to have similar structure to our solar system. Galaxies look like neurons. What if it's not just time that repeats over and over but space? What if our universe is a single cell in a really big organism?

How many hours does it take the moon to revolve around the earth? By observation I would guess it's a little less than 20 hours, but I don't know the exact number. Just curious.

How many people think evidences and facts that have been discovered have been intentially left out of scientific papers and the media?

Put it this way, maybe people don't want to change traditional theories even if facts show the hypothesis to be wrong?

What do you think?

Maybe there's a secret history none of us are aware of because we have been aught how to intepret the evidence?

In M-Theory, the "big bang" was caused by a collision between branes. If collisions can occur, is it possible to travel between branes at such a collision point or other intersecting spaces or dimensions?

the shortest day of the year is around december 23 i guess, and as i know when we get closer to winter the day is less bright specially on the afternoon on the sunset.

so by logic, the day shoul be less bright on december 23 than in november 23. but i am shure that it is not.

i am shure than on november gets complitly dark arround 5:50 pm oclock, but on december 23 there is still light on the sky.

and it gets complitly dark at 6:30

so i would like to know why.

becasuse the sun on winter goes to the sout, and is more far away than in fall.

The above question is related to physics and astronomy.we use
different standard times like G.M.T,I.S,T,etc in different countries
Out of these which one is absolute time. similarly we express long
periods of time(like centuries)in different Eras(chrstian era,muslim
era, salivahana era etc)outof these which one is absolute?can we
measure the absolute time by any device like atomic clock or by
any oher device?we are able to predict the the exat time of apperence of comets formation of solar and lunar eclipses.

My theory is that as a black hole gains more mass, it expands into its own self contained universe. Black holes can exist in many different sizes. Is it possible that our visible universe was once or still is contained inside a black hole? As a black hole pulls in more matter it becomes less dense and grows larger. It would continue to grow until it reaches a certain critical density or until black holes within it negate this expansion. Since no one knows what happens inside the event horizon, it is all theoretical. Are any of the black holes in our visible universe are old enough to exhibit this behavior? This opens another question of just how many levels does this go? Is our universe inside a black hole that is contained within another universe that is also contained within a black hole?

Using ONLY an automatic digital camera, what's the best way of taking pictures of astrological stuff? No telescopes or zoom lens beyond 135mm. I can place the camera on a tripod and take long exposures (< 10 seconds). Current camera: Sony DSC-F828, but the question is really aimed at ANY digital camera.
