no absolute can be determined this is because....
the time is calculated early based...monthly based....weekly based....and so on...
as u all knw...every year the no os days increases by a quarter...that is 365+1/4...in the first year....next it will become 365+1/4+1/4...3651/2...and so on...since the days change every year but is not noticable...except for the leap years...since even the sun changes its positions....the absolute time is not determined....
based on severel calculations on based on longitudes etc...
the standad time is measured for the world that is the gmt....this is the assumed time...

In the universe no absolute time is not there and we can't define it also. According to Einstein also it is not a Absolute time.

Time is relative, and not just in the sense of Einstein's special relativity (where time slows down as you go faster). A calendar date only means how much time has passed since another moment. In our current calendar, we measure time since Christ was here - more accurately, since the year they decided to start calling it the "year of our lord" - but this is arbitrary as well.
We could easily have started a new era on the day man landed on the moon, in which case, this is the year 38 (if 1969AD became year 0 of the new era). So in short, there is no absolute time because it can only be measured in terms of "amount of time between two events"

standard absolute time is G.M.T(GREENWICH MEAN TIME)
I THINK ITS salivahana...
we can predict from the comets ,solar and lunar eclipses by which our ancesters have calculated time, at the time where no devices to calculate time has been discovered.....
