Why Russian? Because my husband is a former Russian citizen and he says it was probably Russian junk.

Currently unknown, The jury is still out on this one, However, the National Transportation Safety board, whose job it is to investigate air crashes and such, looked at the chink of metal and they said it was definitely not an aircraft part. They did not SAY it was not man made, but they gave that impression, and I don’t see any reason to think otherwise. I’d have to invent a conspiracy out of nothing to do that.

Russian…? I suppose it could be, but then they would still have recognized it as man made.

Why Russian Space Junk? It looks more like American Space Garbage...Isn't NJ the dumpster ('landfill') of the entire US? Also: we write METEORITE.

This is for our opinions.
Not a question we can just answer.
If you ask me, it was probably just a meteorite, rarely do man made objects fall from orbit and smash through houses, without burning up
