Some months back, I went thru a news stating that, 'a new planet has been discovered and there are existence of living beings. They look like humans with golden skin, 5 inch nose and with no hair. I do remember that they wear a long coat. The ESP is researching about this New Planet(Demigo/Demico/Temico...?).
Anybody who knows the fact can respond....

I know that the force of gravity is based on the mass of an object and on a scale from 0 to infinity it would be linear or a steady incline. For example Earth=1 and a black hole=1000 and all points in between would be equally spaced. My thoughts are that gravity is not consistently linear through out the universe. The circumstance for the variation in gravity is up in the air (meaning I don’t know) however I am curious to know what you think. Also please don’t answer my question with a question, which I am sure there are many.

If a black hole can suck everything in and nothing can escape from it, does it mean it has no inside as it pulls everything in? Also, doesn't gravity get crushed by it and what is it that holds the black hole together so it doesnt suck itself in?

So many times have I heard a conspiracy theorist state "Well if we have been to the moon why haven't we been back?" We have. There were a total of 7 lunar missions, 6 of which put man on the moon. The exception is Apollo 13, which most people know about. So my question is this, do those of you who believe we never landed on the moon think we faked it 6 times, or do you just ignore Apollo missions 12-17 and only focus on Apollo 11?

I am considering buying a telescope. This will be my first one.I want to get a good quality scope that will give me nice views of deep sky objects and preferably be under $500. I was thinking about a 100mm go to refractor telescope made by celestron but i dont know if this aperture is big enough for deep sky objects

The pre-Copernican geocentrists kept inventing more epicycles to try to explain how everything orbited around the Earth. I get the same gut feeling w/ dark matter and now dark energy: are theorists going in the wrong direction, scrambling for ever more complex and improbable explanations to support a theory, when maybe they should go back to square one like Copernicus did and find an alternative theory? I'm not saying I have one, btw.

to send out a probe with a telescope like the hubbles into deep space toward the closest(Presumably) life supporting world(s) with a laser communications system to send back clearer pictures? Every so often smaller probes designed to capture these signals could be sent out on the same course following the first and so on to boost the first probes signal back to earth like a giant antenna. Clear information at the speed of light. Think of the information we could gather? That and the fact that we could boost our signal to the farthest reaches of space. You would think that with all the communications satallete technology we have now this could be achieved. I know price is a factor but If you used the money typically spent on the space shuttle missions and had private investors? Think of the posssibilities? Could anyone with proper knowledge of this technology give me an answer and details why this would or would not be plausable.

I have heard from numerous sources that the world is going to en December 24th, 2012.

It is said because two different calendars have, for thousands of years, predicted asteroids, meteor showers and other phenomena, but the cause of the world ending is supposedly going to be caused by a colossal asteroid hitting earth. Might it cause another ice-age, or will it cause the world to end completely?

I don't necessarily agree with this theory, but what are your thoughts upon the matter?
