As you surely know NASA used system of crosses in cameras they used to photograph the Moon during Apollo missions to determine the size of photographed objects. But recently I've seen on the net two or three pictures where lunar rocks obstruct parts of crosses. It is phisically impossible. Some say this proofs that those pictures are fake and Americans never landed on the Moon. I don't believe in this conspiracy theory, but on the other hand I'm trying to find any logical explanation for obstructed crosses. Any ideas ?

A stupid meeting in eastern europe between a bunch of nerds and they change history? It's obvious that these clowns have nothing better to do and are trying to create some action in astronomy so that their budgets/funding will not be cut. This is a step backward for mankind! And i can't believe that there is not much opposition to the declassification of pluto.Pluto to me will always be a planet, screw these assholes. They don't know ****!

I mean they always fly past the planets.
What happens if they fly up from the Poles for example.
I know about the rotation of the earth and the slingshot effect. The universe is flat so why do we not fly perpendicular to it?

Space is a hazordous environment. There is no oxygen, food or water needed for life. As well as that the distances are huge and people don't live upto a 1000 years. There's radiation and the risks of collisions with asteroids. Also the damage to mental health is a real possibility, such as being home sick

For example I want to travel from Delhi to New York by flight, the total distance is approximatly 30000 Kms.Insted of flying this distance,is it possible for me to go out of the Atmosphere(say 25 Kms upright) and stay for some time(Aprrox 12Hrs),(during this time the Earth will make a half revolution)can i come and back to the place where i want to go.
Probably the Earth rotates at a speed (in24 Hrs it makes one complete revolution)then if you see the Globe and location of Delhi(india) and New York will be approx 1/2 of the revolution of the earth.
The advantages of this will be saving of large Fuel and lot of time. This can be even faster if we trave out of the atmosphere in the opposite direction of the earth.
