As you surely know NASA used system of crosses in cameras they used to photograph the Moon during Apollo missions to determine the size of photographed objects. But recently I've seen on the net two or three pictures where lunar rocks obstruct parts of crosses. It is phisically impossible. Some say this proofs that those pictures are fake and Americans never landed on the Moon. I don't believe in this conspiracy theory, but on the other hand I'm trying to find any logical explanation for obstructed crosses. Any ideas ?

Nothing impossible or conspiratorial going on. Bright white objects overexpose the film and bleed over the thin black lines.

There may be contrast effects - if the cross is the same brightness level, more or less, as the background, the cross may seem to disappear.
As to fakery - this seems like it would be harder to do than simply "faking" the crosses.

The crosses may have been Virtually removed for clarity and hense bad work may be the cause
