It's continuing mission ...to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations... to boldly go where no man has gone before.

Is that NASA's mission?

recently i've watched a t.v documentary about how d earth formed and that the moon was 10x closer then it is 2 day and d days were shorter so i thought that the moon is slowly moving away from us and days would be longer and we might have an increase of gravity and earth would be warmer am i right or wrong

Only On Some Planets?

I assume it wouldn't work in actual Space, because the fan would need air or something to move, but as there is air in the Space Station/Shuttle, but zero gravity, would the internal fan be strong enough to propel it along?

I mean... don't you think that would help protect the environment? And we we wouldn't be polluting space because the trash would probably burn up when it reaches some star or black hole somewhere. I think this would be a good solution to our pollution problems.

For example, on the International Space Station, if an astronaut wasn't holding onto anything and ripped a fart, would the force of that fart propel him in one direction?

If Hubble captures light that is 13 bn years old and the universe is approximately 14 bn years old, how come we can see it?

Wouldn't the universe be a maximum of 1 billion light years across when this light was created and it therefore would have gone past us 12 bn years ago? I thought that the speed of light is an absolute limit, so to repeat the obvious it would have been produced when the universe was 1bn years old, but 13 bn light years across (mimimum).

Please answer ASAP as I need to sleep.

Thanks.

PS No maths please.

I think not... People just visit the outerspace... There's no oxygen, no food, no water... How could we possibly live in outerspace??? It'll take years to accomplish a big aquarium or city or whatever in outerspace!!! So I think not...

I need a full description on Neptune and if possible a video (with narration) about neptune. I've been searching for days and I can't find any video. Heck, it's all over National Geographic!

Also, I've gotta think up of ways for us human beings to adapt on Neptune. I know, it's impossible! There isnt any freaking oxygen on it's atmosphere! So how in the world do we make oxygen? And what about the violent winds? And the Sun being a freaking kazillion kilometres away? If anyone out there have solutions to these head-cracking questions, it would be deeply (I mean veeEEEEry deeply) appreciated!
