well in terms of mass one of the most massive stars in the known universe is Eta Carinae which is about 125 times as massive as our sun...it is believed that 150 is the upper limit to how many more times massive a star can be compared to our sun...in terms of diameter...red supergiants are much larger than our sun but are also less dense. Betelgeuse, in the Orion, constelation has a diameter 1,000 larger than our sun

Many stars are much larger than our sun (compared by mass), but scientists have compared the brightness of stars, too.
Try this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=stars+larger+than+Sun.
I searched "stars larger than Sun" on Wikipedia and they gave me those results. There are some facts not relating to your question, but they give interesting information, too.
