How do astronauts shower in outer space?

They don't, obviously - gravity would send the water everywhere but onto them. I don't know how they keep themselves clean but suspect they use some kind of moist cloth. Remember that space ships have to be very sterile before they go up, though, so the chances of dirt accumulating are small.

I was an astronaut in training during the 1960's until I failed the "sniff test" I told the Commander he smelled like caca and I was immediately discharged form active duty. I am now writing a book about 9-11 and the Mercury test site ( where the U.S. government" faked '') the whole moon landing episode. If I tell you more you may not buy my book.

Knew I'd seen something that looked like a shower in the mock ups. Unfortunately don't know any living astronauts to ask if they actually use it.

If they don't shower, I wonder if their suit is thick enough to prevent body odor from smelling:p Because if it doesn't, omg, I wouldn't wanna be an astronaut travelling for god knows how many light years with my stinky colleagues :p

I don't think they have a functional shower like the one you have at home...

you would have to have a way to contain the water and prevent it from freely flowing whereever it wanted to go - such as electronics.

then you would need to have a way to direct it somewhere.

they have special soap to use though

there's a room provided with gravity force accelerator inside.. they do get dirty also, with oils and gas moose.. they need to take a shower!

yea i don't think they shower, how can they get dirty outerspace? that's just my assumption though
