I seem to be confused.
I was told to use the chain rule, but I don't see how it can apply.
Can't I just substitute (cos x)(cos x) in its place and then use the product rule? Isn't cos^2 x = (cos x)(cos x)?

Please let me know if I am right. If not, then please explain how to use the chain rule in this situation. Thank you.

Sitting @ an intersection this morning I noticed at least 60-70 pidgeons sitting side by side on a hydro wire all facing the same way.
Later on in the afternoon, same intersection the same birds were sitting side by side only this time facing a different direction!
Is there a reason for this?

Why do Christians always say Evolution didn't take place because their bible says it didn't? What about the other religions in the world? What about all of the evidence for Evolution? Why do they decide to throw blind faith into a book that is supposedly the word of "God", when there is no proof that god even exists?
