A child is sleeping in a room with a breaker panel mounted in the wall just above her head. The panel is a 200 amp service. The panel is in an adjacent room. Is there any concern due to the proximity of the panel. Not concerned about shocks, just some electromagnetic waves. Like what has been rumored about high voltage transmission lines.

I ask this question seriously. I am a big fan of the now departed Carl Sagan but wonder if his 'noble' view of possible spacefaring extraterrestrials was a bit too hopeful. Certainly, I hope we can someday develop interstellar travel and visit Earth-like worlds - in large part, because we may need to live there - meaning - we as humans would plan to invade. What is your opinion????

If so: When? Are there ways (or machines) to increase the amount of gravity (however slightly) so that it would be more conducive to Earthling inhabitants?

A 100mA supply I have, which worked fine, is now broken. I also have a 800mA supply. Since they both have12VDC outputs, but the mA outputs are different, can I swap the higher mA for the lower mA and not have a burn-out problem?
