One of the main differences is that a mature red blood cell has no nucleus. A muscle cell would have more mitochondria for cell respiration and a different shape depending on what kind of muscle tissue it builds. That, and the obvious differences in functions.. heh

Muscle cells have different forms such as striated and smooth; muscle tissue may also consist of cells that contain more than one nucleus. Muscle cells in adult tissues do not go through Mitosis (cell division) unless the muscle has sustained an injury and is in need of repair. Muscle cells are combined into tissues found in many organs of the human body such as the heart (involuntary-contractile muscle tissue), and are stationary in their orientation.

Blood cells are free flowing and have no fixed orientation; they convey oxygen and nourishment to every living tissue within the human body. Both red and white blood cells undergo mitosis (cell division), and are under continuous division in order to meet the demands of the human body. White blood cells, found in the lymphatic system are the human body's warriors (infection fighters), attacking invading bacterium upon recognition. Blood is considered a connective tissue.

I hope that this helps.....

They are both specialized cells however a red blood cell's task is to deliver oxygen and a small amount of carbon dioxide. It contains a red pigment, hemoglobin, which has high affinity to oxygen hence allowing its delivery(by forming oxyhemoglobin) . Furthermore, a red blood cell has a biconcave shape and has a red color (due to the presence of hemoglobin), it contains no nucleus leaving more space to contain hemoglobin. Finally, red blood cells are made in the red bone marrow of short bones such as the ribs. A nerve cell's task is to deliver nerve impulses from the body to the brain/spinal cord and vice versa. It has three main types. It does contain a nucleus too. It's job is performed by the neurotransmitters present in the synapses. There are many differences, but these are the first that came to my mind.

-- Muscle Cells are elongated cells that contract when stimulated. They are tied together with connective tissue called tendons and are laid in the body in muscle fibers with many fibers for each joint.

According to Wikipeida: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_cells
"Muscle (from Latin musculus, diminutive of mus "mouse") is contractile tissue of the body and is derived from the mesodermal layer of embryonic germ cells. It is classified as skeletal, cardiac, or smooth muscle, and its function is to produce force and cause motion, either locomotion or movement within internal organs. Much of muscle contraction occurs without conscious thought and is necessary for survival, like the contraction of the heart, or peristalsis (which pushes food through the digestive system)."

-- Red Blood Cells are hollow and unlike muscle cells they don't have a nucleus. They are filled with iron and pick up oxygen by rusting.

According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_blood_cells
"Red blood cells are also known as RBCs, haematids or erythrocytes (from Greek erythros for "red" and kytos for "hollow", with cyte nowadays translated as "cell")."

-- White Blood Cells are part of the body's defense system they are similar to uni-cell organisms and hunt foreign cells in the body.

According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_blood_cells
"White blood cells or leukocytes are cells of the immune system defending the body against both infectious disease and foreign materials. Several different and diverse types of leukocytes exist, but they are all produced and derived from a multipotent cell in the bone marrow known as a hematopoietic stem cell. Leukocytes are found throughout the body, including the blood and lymphatic system."

blood cell? which one? red or white?
if its red the difference is that red blood cell dont have nucleus while muscle cells do
if its white blood cells the difference will be that muscle cells have more mitochondrion
