A 3.00 microliter standard sample of 50% 1-propanol and 50% n-butanol is injected and the results are below. 1-propanol is the internal standard. The peak areas are:
1-propanol: 6.550 cm^2
n-butanol: 5.321 cm^2

A 3.00 microliter unknown sample of 50% 1-propanol and an unknown mixture concentration of n-butanol is analyzed with the same gas chromatograph. The peak areas are:
1-propanol: 6.181 cm^2
n-butanol: 3.216 cm^2

Calculate the percent composition of the n-butanol in the unknown mixture. (hint, the total will not be 100%, there are other components in the sample).

I've always wondered that, red is at the end of the visible light spectrum, but blue is just kind of a random place. Violet makes sense, because that's also the end, I guess. Any great reasons why? And how do you know this information?

i know that since theres no oxygen in space, you cant have a fire, but just follow along. You know how here on earth fire always goes upwards? Say you lit something on fire in such deep space that there's NO gravity. Which way would the fire go? could you turn the burning object upside down and have the fire follow it?

I just thought of this and wondered what ya'll thought of it. Ever thought about it before? What does a "blessing" do? Does it make something/someone holy? Or, does it expel the evil in it/them?We used to have holy cards and rosaries that were blessed. You weren't allowed to throw them away (because they were "blessed") What does that mean?

Hello. I am trying to make a batch of homemade cancer cells, and (god forbid) I'm fresh out of pregnant women. All I have is a couple of petri dishes, some AGAR, a scalpel, human flesh (for culture. I'm not a flesh easting zombie), and my (abnormally huge) brain(JK). I need to know: Is it possible to deform, mutate, or otherwise mess with the stuff that times cell replication and the cell cycle? In other words, are there other ways to transform normal cells into cancer cells without means of in-vitro fertilization and all that high-tech stuff that costs a million dollars? EX. I heard (rumors) that sunlight causes cancer if the radiation is extreme. So could my cells do a little sunbathing and undergo cancerous division?

Thanks. E-mail me if you have any other questions. I would like the price range to be between $0-50, if at all possible.
