Can someone explain me how to graph the inverse of a function on a TI-83 plus. example x = y + 2, I know the inverse is y = x - 2. I am using my TI-83 plus, how can I graph the inverse of y = x^2, I know that on my TI-83 on
Y1 = X^2
Y2 = ? I just need to know what to input on Y2, thanks for anyones help

I have always postulated of a symmetrical opposite universe, the crunch phase transition "event horizon" of the an extreme mass black hole, (galaxy's you see spiralling in like a drain) and the massless one, (where it spews out the other side), and one in the same. The "big bang" single beginning seems even more ridiculous, now that they have found an area of space with absolute nothingness, and its as big as all of the area they have charted "with stars planets" etc...! so nothing IS something, its the symmetrical opposite of somethings.

I don't know if I understood what "roots" are correctly.

The problem was to compute the sum of all the roots of
(2x + 3)(x - 4) + (2x+3)(x - 6) = 0

I figured x = -1.5
= 4
= 6

and the answer I got was 8.5

Can someone tell me if I got this problem right? and if it's wrong, why? Thanks!

If the earth is starting to tilt *away* from the sun during the winter solstice, shouldn't the winter solstice mark the middle of winter rather than the beginning (since the hemisphere should be becoming less "wintery")?

i wanted to know if i balanced this correctly:

Magnesium reacts with titanium(IV) chloride (TiCl4) to produce magnesium chloride (MgCl2) and titanium.
4Mg + TiCl4 ---> 2MgCl2 + 4Ti

I am not sure how to do this one:

Carbon reacts with zinc oxide to produce zinc and carbon dioxide.
