Use Bernoulli's equation to estimate the upward force on an airplane's wing if the average flow speed of air is 180 m/s above the wing and 155 m/s below the wing. The density of the air is 1.2 kg/m3 and the area of each wing surface is 27 m2

A bullet having a mass of 5g is fired horizontally into a wooden block of 2.5 kg mass that is sitting at rest on a horizontal surface. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the surface is μk = 0.25. The bullet comes to rest in the wooden block, which moves a distance of 2 m along the surface. 1) How much work did the bullet do in pushing the block? 2) What was the speed of the bullet when it hit the block? 3) How much kinetic energy was absorbed by the block (i.e. how much energy was not available to push the block)?

This is a closed polygon. The units are just general coordinate units:

"What are the coordinates of the two yellow dots?
What is the distance between the two yellow dots?
What is the area of the polygon?
What are the angles of the two yellow dots, in degrees?

*Show your work; numbers must be accurate to the 4th decimal place."

I made this up in Chemistry two days ago when the teacher was rambling on about saturated and unsaturated solutions. Just to find the distance between the yellow dots, it took me about 2 hours because I forgot a few of my trig rules; did that stuff last year; eesh. Took my math teacher about a half hour to find the distance between the two yellow dots. I felt like spicing it up, and adding a few more questions. IM me if the questions are unclear. Good luck!

A rectangular swimming pool is 50ft long and 25 ft wide. there is a walkway x ft wide surrounding the pool.

First you have to find the lenght and width of the pool with the walkway x ft.

Next you have to find the area of hte pool with the walkway in terms x. Explain!

ok if the total area of the pool and walkway is 2284 ft squared, what is the width of the walkway?

This is easy simple geometry right? Wrong! remember whoever gives the right answer and the best explaination gets my vote as best answer!
