Solve the following equations on the interval 0 < (equal to) theta < 2 pi


a) cos (2 theta) = 2 - 2 sin^2 theta


b) cos (2 theta) + 5 cos theta + 3 = 0


please help and explain this to me step by step I keep getting weird answers, thanks

Find all asymptotes and holes.

y=(x-1)(x+5) <== that is over (x-6)(x-2)
(x-6)(x-2)

I don't whether it's a normal asymtote, slant, or hole. I also don't know how to start it to figure out the Vertical and Horizontal.
