Information is given about a complex polynomial f(x) whose coefficients are real numbers. Find the remaining zeros of f(x): the degree of f(x) is 3, and it has 4 and 1 - i as zeros.

I'm utterly confused on how to do this. Please explain. Thank you.

i have NOOOO idea how to solve this one problem:

A bridge is two miles long. In the heat of the summer the bridge surface expands two feet. Assume that the expansion is concentrated at the center of the bridge. How many feet high (from the old roadbed) is the center of the bridge after the expansion?

a. wavelength
b. amplitude

I am going over a sample calc quiz for Thursday and one of the problems is
y= sin{cos^2(tanx)} i started the problem by using the chain rule right and i got
dy/dx= cos{cos^2(tanx)} * ?
i know your supposed to multiply iit by dy/dx of the inside of the parenthesis so my question is what is the derivative of cos^2(tanx)

I have a TI 84 plus.


when you hit "2nd" and then "x^-1", it shows you the list of matrices you've made

(looks something like this)
