back again with a new problem.thanks to the people woh helped me with my other problem. how do you solve,-3I3x=2I=7. Its for homework, i'm a sophmore taking alg.2.

you haven't typed in an inequality, which would have <, >, ≤ (alt-243), or ≥ (alt-242) in it, and the = between 3x and 2 should probably be a +.

the 1st step would be dividing by -3, getting you
|3x+2| ?? -7/3, which, depending on the inequality, may well have no solution, since an absolute value is never negative.
