yes, that's the point of gravity(?)
that's where you could balance the triangle on the end of a pin/needle.

No, it is not the center of the triangle. But it is the center of gravity of the triangle. From a stiff piece of cardboaord cut out a triangle. Draw two medians. Their poin of intersection is the centroid. Now take a pin and yo/ll find that the triangle will balance perfectly on the head of the pin when placed at the centroid.

Yes, the centroid is the center of any triangle. If the mass of the triangle is evenly distributed, we can also call the centroid as the mass center of the triangle.

It is 2/3 of the way to all three vertices. It is still well balanced!

The centroid is the intersection between the line segments that connect a vertex to the midpoint of the line opposite it. If it is an equilateral triangle, yes.

a point whose coordinates are the averages of the corresponding coordinates of a given set of points and which for a given plane or three-dimensional figure (as a triangle or sphere) corresponds to the center of mass of a thin plate of uniform thickness and consistency or a body of uniform consistency having the same boundary

yes it is, and it is always 2/3 of the way from a vertex e to the midpoint of the opposite side
