In the Daytona 500 auto race, a Ford Thunderbird and a Mercedes Benz are moving side by side down a straight-away at 72.5 m/s. The driver of the Thunderbird realizes that she must make a pit stop, and she smoothly slows to a stop over a distance of 250 m. She spends 5.00 s in the pit and then accelerates out, reaching her previous speed of 72.5 m/s after a distance of 340 m. At this point how far has the Thunderbird fallen behind the Mercedes Benz, which has continued at a constant speed?

A small charged sphere of radius a=1.00 cm is suspended by a nylon thread inside a larger neutral, conducting sphere. The larger sphere has an interior radius b=3.10 cm and is Δ=0.5 cm thick. The charge on the small sphere is q=0.90 nC. The two spheres are concentric and insulated from their surroundings. For the following questions, the origin of our coordinates is the center of the spheres.

1) What is the magnitude of the electric field at a radius 10.0 cm? Hint: Use Gauss's law, and remember that the outer sphere is neutral

2) What is the magnitude of the electric potential at the surface of the smaller sphere?

3) What is the magnitude of the electric potential at the outside surface of the larger sphere?

Okay.

I'm going to try to cover both sides here. If they are imagined, then the reason they are so widely controversial, and why some of the sightings are probably authentic, is because they really are government hoaxes. They could keep people distracted from the real "news" by getting them all pumped up on aliens. The "real" news has to do with the terrorist and crimes committed by our own government. So UFOs and such would just be yet another form of media lies and distraction that we are bombarded with on TV and Radio.

If they ARE real, which is what I've always felt, and the government is just trying to cover them up... then their exposure is STILL secondary to the situation we have with our own government. We should not be concerned with other species when our own is a complete, corrupt mess. The government is NOT going to disclose anything that could empower the civilians, so until the government is handled, lets forget about the UFOs and focus on them, yeah?

why because it can be used to make multiplying easy

29*71
because (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2

29*71=50^2-21^2
50^2=2500 (5^2=25 bung a couple of noughts at the end)
and 21^2=(20*22)+1 (the reverse) (2*22=44---add a zero)
therefore 29*71=2500-441=2059

want to know more ask me

also 22 rule

know all the squares up to 25
and multiplying becomes real easy trust me (ok so i am number freak)

why ask me
