Have you ever waited in line while a checker at a store counted out change? Can you imagine what that would be like trying to count our change for a $π bill, especially if your item cost $e

Maybe that's not a bad idea!
Many people are irrational about money,
so they will spend less money elsewhere while waiting for the clerk
to give EXACT CHANGE from their Two sqrt(3) dollar bills
to buy an "Idiots" book priced at Pi dollars.
Then again, they might just move to Indiana, instead.
(That's the state where a bill changing Pi to three once passed unanimously in the state House of Representatives. See note [*])
Instead of changing denominations to be irrational,
why not just make them imaginary?
(Perhaps that would that be too complex for you. :^)

If a bill were worth Ï dollars, it would take an infinite amount of time to calculate the change from a $e purchase âº

Coins and bills are made so that they easy the calculation not to get them more difficult.

if you answer the question "exactly how many $pi bills make up $10"
then you can tell the governor of the central bank to go and print them

There is no solution to pi......... Unless you round it.
It would screw up bank calculations using:
